Mixed reviews on "Ada"?

Lately, after the audio release of "Ada" and "Jaane Tu ya jaane na", hype has been surrounding more on "Jaane Tu..." and the marketing division has been more keen on the latter.

Almost all the reviews have been favouring "Jaane tu.." as peppy ,youthful music ,but whats up with "Ada".

"Ada" is a far better and serious composition by Rahman. It has a very complex structure of songs.I accept "Jaane Tu..." is fanstastic too.But there are many composers who could replicate Rahman to make Peppy music in the market, but "Ada" belongs to Rahman.

1. Songs like "Ishq Ada (both versions) , "Meherbaan", "Hawa Sun Hawa" and "Milon Wahan Wahan" are Rahmanisque and is not easy for any other composers in the new world to create.

2. Very few like Monty( with the stependous Saawariya) may be able to perceive the orchestration like "Ada" but may not be as consistent as Rahman does.

3. "Ada" music was composed long time back and you can in no way feel the rust in the songs. It takes your breath off sometimes after a few listens.

Listen it and feel it.

A.R. Rahman's ADA is a highly experimental album - probably due to its age - 6 years...

This album would appeal only to two category of people - Rahman's die hard fans & serious music followers.

Others are strictly advised to avoid this album and better take shelter with your regular, comfortable music which you are used to :(

Only the ishq ada, gum sum jil mil track sounds decent and the rest are all sleepy, below average, lacklustre, experimental tunes in 1960-1980s mode !!!

After listening to the songs, i expect the movie to be an emotional sack. This album would flop heavily and can find a place along with Lakeer, kabhi na kabhi, kadhal virus etc...
